About Me

Miriam Desjardins is a student of mindfulness and meditation, practicing the art of living one conscious choice at a time. She is a Licensed Desire Map Facilitator and a Chopra Certified Primordial Sound Meditation Teacher and Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga Instructor, registered as a RYT200 Yoga Alliance Teacher. As a student of the Seven Spiritual Laws she has been immersed in the knowledge and wisdom teachings of higher states of consciousness; and, has learned the foundations of Ayurveda and mind-body healing.

Coming from a background of graduate work in International Conflict Management, Miriam is passionate about bringing peace to the global community by promoting a shift in consciousness; a shift that she believes can begin on the mat or meditation cushion and must begin at the level of the individual, the world’s true power brokers.

Q: What are your Core Desired Feelings?

On the Leading Edge.
Lightness of Being.
Divine Expression.

Q: How / where did you Desire Map? What did you love about doing it that way?

Anywhere and everywhere. Sometimes I Desire Map before or after meditation, and other times I'm alone in my car. Whenever and wherever I'm feeling it. And sometimes not feeling it - because once I get started it's impossible not to resonate with the soul prompts.

Q: Tell me a specific story about how knowing your CDFs has changed your life.

I'm a list maker. Full on list lover. Packing lists, grocery lists, moving lists, wish lists. My goal setting was preoccupied with list making. Headings and subheadings rocked my world. And they still do. But, my CDFs have prompted me to loosen the noose of the list and go with the flow of feelings. Allowing my desire, the desire to be living on the leading edge, with and as divine expression and lightness of being, has led me to create goals that keep my choices sacred and aligned with who I really am, the deepest aspects of myself. My CDFs have helped me to live in yoga (union) as I feel my way through this journey of my life. 

Q: Why are you passionate about sharing this work with others?

Feeling is where it is at. It is what is all comes down to. And once we get that, once we glimpse this, once we connect with what it is to feel from the truest aspects of our being, then we are transformed. That is to say, altered forever. There is no going back. Holding space for others to have this experience helps me to realize my CDFs of living on the leading edge, divine expression, and lightness of being as we set about rocking our potential.
