Q: What are your Core Desired Feelings?

Q: How / where did you Desire Map? What did you love about doing it that way?
A friend of mine posted about her Desire Map planner on Facebook. I decided to buy my own planner and the Desire Map book to see what it was all about. I was just coming out of a period of deep healing, and the Desire Map became my road map to completely reshape my life into something that felt good to me.
Q: Tell me a specific story about how knowing your CDFs has changed your life.
When I’m feeling stuck or when something is just not going the way I want, I commonly ask myself is “what do I need to let go of or where do I need to create space, in order to feel the way I want to feel”. When I first created my CDFs, I knew where my life was out of alignment, but just couldn’t seem to get to where I wanted. So I kept asking myself that question. The CDF that I couldn’t get to was MEANINGFUL. I finally admitted to myself that as long as I was working a 9-5 job I would never feel the way I want to feel. So I finally quit my corporate job to do something I love, and that makes me feel the way I want to feel. For years I had known I wasn’t happy at my job, but it wasn’t until knowing exactly how I wanted to feel and where that disconnection was that I had to courage to leave.
Q: Why are you passionate about sharing this work with others?
This work has drastically improved the quality of my life, so I want to show others how it can do the same for them. Before, everything I did felt like a chore. But now, I know how I want to feel, and all of my goals and tasks are focused on those feelings. So even when I’m doing a not-so-fun step toward a bigger goal, I just remind myself of what the end feeling will be, which keeps me motivated and focused!
