Q & A

Q: What are your Core Desired Feelings?

Cherish, Sunflower, Spacious

Q: How / where did you Desire Map? What did you love about doing it that way?

My first Desire Mapping was alongside the book at home. I enjoyed letting the concept sink in and how much sense it made after so many years of goal setting personally and in business. It was also such fun taking my time chewing on all the yummy "feeling" words that filled the pages. I desire map a little every day when I wake up and ask myself again and again, how I want to feel today. The Desire Map planner is a great help with that too!

Q: Tell me a specific story about how knowing your CDFs has changed your life.

Every day starts with intention. I used to be focused on the bigger goals and now it's the little everyday actions that have changed my life. Spacious calls me to lighten my schedule, arrive early and make room in the day to be alone (or walking the dog). When I practice saying no to over scheduling, I feel more spacious. Spaciousness lets creativity flow and it nips irritability right in the bud. I plan my day more mindfully and the results....well, it's magic.

Q: Why are you passionate about sharing this work with others?

I once heard that we find our calling at the intersection of our great gladness and the worlds deep hunger. We are such powerful creators of our lives. As far as I know for sure we only get this one life as we know it. There is so much unnecessary suffering that can be shifted. Let's ask the questions that get to the heart of any matter and let's bust through false boundaries, do the work and reconnect with the trust inside ourselves. Let's live with meaning. I'm excited to walk this journey alongside you where the deeper currents of life flourish.
