My name is Dawn and for more than 12 years I have excelled in all aspects of talent development across multiple industries. I’ve worked as a learning facilitator, consultant and coach for leaders, individuals, and teams. I teach everything from leadership development to stress reduction to program creation.
Working with the Desire Map Ecperience has helped me to change how I live in the small areas of my life so I can show up aligned and ready to go in the big areas.
I’ve used it as a tool to help me pull out of burnout, re-energize, and re-engage with my dreams. It helped me to love goal setting and introduced me to the amazing feeling of giving myself permission to feel great about the things I want and choose to do.
I want that for you too. I want to help you clear the clutter, get honest, and get moving!

Q & A
Q: What are your Core Desired Feelings?
Plugged-in, Connected, Loved, Inspired, Adventurous, Stylish, Fiercely Feminine
Q: How / where did you Desire Map? What did you love about doing it that way?
I came to Desire Mapping through a girlfriend who told me, with the kind of tough love only a close girlfriend can give, that I needed this book because I was a mess.
I had built a successful career but sacrificed a lot to get there and found myself face-to-face with chronic burnout. I lost my cause, my drive, and my purpose.
I worked one-on-one with my friend in a book study type of environment. We moved through the content together until we had a set of core feelings and some small goals to get us moving forward.
I loved this way of working because it wasn’t like a course with due dates. It was a conversation between friends about how we were going to get me back into my groove. It was so nourishing and motivating! It was gentle and sweet which is what I needed. While we had goals they weren’t overwhelming.
Q: Tell me a specific story about how knowing your CDFs has changed your life.
The simple act of acknowledging and accepting that it’s okay to do things that make me feel how I want to feel. When that concept finally sunk it, it felt like the ultimate step in self-care.
I am much more mindful about the care and keeping of myself. Because if this I love and respect myself a lot more which is resulting in me being able to get more respect and love from others.
I’ve seen improvements in my work, my clients respond better to me, and my daughter tells me I’m a lot more fun to play with now.
Q: Why are you passionate about sharing this work with others?
This work is one of the best ways I’ve found to create and maintain work-life harmony. Life is much more rich and meaningful when you are deeply connected to your joy. Your creativity flows and breakthroughs happen.
I want to help people get to that creative space.
