I'm a lover of many things: books, travel, learning, my husband and daughter to name a few. My holistic wellness adventure began just after meeting my husband and has taken me to the far corners of this lifestyle.
I am a seeker.
From small town farm-girl to college athletics as a student then as a career, to being at home with my daughter while flexing my entrepreneurial muscles and quite a few stages in between.
I had found a way to put most of my accumulated knowledge into action in my life. But I still felt a little lost, a little without "purpose" besides an almost compulsion to share what's in my brain with others. I knew I wanted to help others make healthy changes in their lives. Beyond that my goal wasn’t strong enough to take action daily. Enter the Desire Map. After doing my level one work one-on-one with a facilitator I felt like a had a compass with which to steer my ship. Liberating. Empowering. Golden.
My successes, guidance and example to those I had the pleasure to work with teaching about detoxing or essential oils didn’t seem to be motivating enough for most to make lasting changes. I needed to find a way to get through to others trying to make big adjustments in their lives who just couldn’t pull the trigger or follow through long term. Enter the Desire Map. An empowering tool for anyone at any stage in their life!

Q: What are your Core Desired Feelings?
Golden. Harmony. Wanderlust. Hygge.
Q: How / where did you Desire Map? What did you love about doing it that way?
I bought the book thinking I would do it on my own but I wasn't getting very far. I looked into working virtually with a facilitator and chose a one-on-one experience. I loved this for myself because it allowed me the time to reflect in between calls and dig but also kept me accountable and working toward my answers. I also loved the perspective that my facilitator allowed me, especially when I was narrowing down my CDFs. I would have been lost if I had gotten that far on my own. I also loved having someone to celebrate with when it was all over.
Q: Tell me a specific story about how knowing your CDFs has changed your life.
I have a nasty habit of holding on to disappointment, frustration, and expectations of perfection/right-way especially with my significant other. Now that I have my CDFs when I catch myself feeling that way a little longer than comfortable, I can say, "I don't want to feel this way," and I have a list of ways I DO want to feel. Sometimes just bringing that word into mind can create the shift. Sometimes I need to take a moment to breathe a little. They are subtle yet profound tools.
Q: Why are you passionate about sharing this work with others?
I feel like it's the missing link behind taking action and making changes in our lives. I also think that our emotional health can impact our physical so much that just doing healing the physical body isn't enough and ultimately isn't possible to achieve without being in a healthy emotional state. The Desire Map helps bring our emotions into a healthier state due to the confidence and freedom that comes from uncovering our CDFs.
