About Me

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to start building a life that brought me happiness. I was in St. Louis keeping busy chasing goals that weren't fulling me and I was left feeling stuck, burned out, and unhappy. In 2016, I participated in my first Desire Map Workshop here in Los Angeles. It was so powerful it completely changed my perception of "seeking" happiness, and helped me to set and obtain goals that made me feel good long after the goals were achieved. Soon after the workshop, I was so clear on my desires that I felt ignited and set on fire, I set my soul centered dreams using my core desired feelings and now nothing can get in my way! In February of 2017, I traveled solo to India to achieve my yoga teacher certification. Since then I have been teaching asana, meditation, pranayama, and mindfulness workshops across the country. My passion is to help women realize the fire and strength that is innate to all of us. Being of service is what lights my soul on fire. As Hanuman, states, "When I do not know who I am, I serve you. When I do know who I am, you and I are one."

Q: What are your Core Desired Feelings?

Subscribed, Aligned, Grateful, Fearless, Thriving.

Q: How / where did you Desire Map? What did you love about doing it that way?

My soul sister gifted my a copy of The Desire Map, it immediately resonated with me. I ravaged the book in a few days then bought a copy for my mom, my friends, & anyone who sounded interested! For myself, I revisited the book every 6 months. I made a ritual out of finding my Core Desired Feelings (CDF's). I love doing it because it's a chance to sit down and consciously ask myself do I really like the direction my life is headed, or is this an opportunity to change the course?

Q: Tell me a specific story about how knowing your CDFs has changed your life.

I used to be so anxious and my thoughts ran wild with feelings of inadequacy. The common narrative in my head was "You aren't good enough. They are better than you. People are going to think you're a fraud." I would tirelessly try to fulfill goals that I thought would make me "good enough"! Then, I read The Desire Map. Immediately I dove into creating my CDF's, and started to set intentions based on my deepest desires. When my mind is trying to control me, I turn to these words and use them as affirmations. "I am grateful. I am aligned. I am fearless...". Do you know how much the pressure just evaporates when you know yourself so deeply? I no longer have to live just to please others, I fulfill my own desires, which makes me readily available to be of service to others. 

Q: Why are you passionate about sharing this work with others?

I am passionate because I know how exhausting it is to chase goals that I think will FINALLY make me feel "happy, and good enough". It's a false journey to "chase happiness". We have already arrived, and the time for happiness and fulfilment is right now! Plus, if there is a proven, effective, clear map to achieve your deepest desires then why wouldn't you try it out!?
