About Me

I lost my mother to cancer in 2014. It happened quickly but I was fortunate to have the time to assist her in the transition. Being a light warrior for my mother has inspired me to step into my authentic self. I am a passionate spirit that has always been on a path of self discovery and who inspires others to do the same along the way.

I am a firm believer in Ann Marie~ism (Annie~ism to my closest friends). Through personal development, books, people and experiences, I take what resonates with my divine self and hold it close to my heart. I also take beliefs that no longer serve me and let them go. A simple combination that has made me who I am today!

As a leader, facilitator and a champion for change, I gently guide people outside of their comfort zone to where all of the magic is! I love mother nature and often use her beautiful playground as a catalyst for growth and self awareness.

I say the tough things that no one will say, but I also make people feel really good about themselves and help them see how kick ass they really are!

Through Desire Mapping, I look forward to empowering people to discover their (Insert Name Here)~ism by understanding their core desired feelings, teaching the fine art of letting go and creating goals with soul!

Core desired feelings

authentic, in flow, luminous, rooted, abundance, freedom, kind of a big deal

Q & A

Q: What are your Core Desired Feelings?

Authentic, In Flow, Luminous, Rooted, Abundance

Q: How / where did you Desire Map? What did you love about doing it that way?

The first time I read The Desire Map I wasn't ready to answer the big questions and get to the root of 'me' and what I really wanted. It was too scary. The second time around I did it with a girlfriend. The support of another person made all the difference in the world and took away the scariness. (Having a glass or two of wine really helped too!)

Q: Tell me a specific story about how knowing your CDFs has changed your life.

Before Licensing became available, I took the concepts from The Desire Map and developed a mini workshop for my employees. We were coming in to work everyday miserable and dreaded the tasks that needed to be achieved. It was ridiculous! Our job was to connect mentors with children to build their self esteem, confidence and be a positive support system in their life. This should be inspiring and provide an enormous sense of intrinsic satisfaction and it was draining our energy to the point of unhappiness. My team and I sat down and delved into our CDF's at work and in our personal life. Once we were rooted in our common CDF's we focused on how we could make our clients feel this way knowing that what you put out to the universe could possibly come back to you ten fold (but with no real expectations). The results knocked our socks off! Appreciation, support, love, happiness, gratitude were things that we feel everyday now in all that we do!

Q: Why are you passionate about sharing this work with others?

In the book 'Eat, Pray, Love' by Elizabeth Gilbert, one of the characters at the ashram tells the main character 'You gotta do the work Groceries'. (He called her Groceries because she had just stuffed her face in Italy for a month.) I never really understood what that meant. She was there to meditate so I assumed 'the work' meant meditate for a month - which isn't always realistic to take a month off of life and meditate in India. After The Desire Map, I get it! This is a simple way to do 'the work' and the results undeniably change your life! Providing people with an opportunity to move into their authentic selves has been a life long passion of mine. I am deeply grateful to be given this wonderful opportunity to share.
